Hotel Sophia is pleased to provide to all of its guests the use of a dedicated office facility as displayed on this page whilst in our Melbourne Hotel. This area may be booked for meetings and general use free of any charge. The centre comfortably sits up to four people. Guests have at their disposal the use of a new Acer slimline veriton personal computer that has connection to the worldwide web, a Lexmark 432 laser printer, VOIP telephone and white board. Charges apply for internet connection, printing and telephone calls.
The area is appropriate for private meetings, interviews and small group seminars and training. The centre also provides our guests with a virtual office here in Melbourne from which to work while here on business with all of the basic facilities that you would expect to have in your own office.
Conferencing
Since our most recent renovations Hotel Sophia is pleased to be able to provide a boutique conferencing venue with a personalized approach to clients and conference attendees whilst in Melbourne. We can comfortably seat up to 60 people or accommodate 100 people in a standing function. The hotel is fully equipped to provide a full buffet and or table service as required and our chefs have experience in East Asian as well as European cuisine. We have a large plasma screen for that essential viewing and we are also able to assist with podiums, public address systems and the like.
